An Australian pianist, has been recognized for his talent since childhood. At 12, he earned the highest pass for the AMEB Grade Four piano exam and swept awards at the Taree Piano Eisteddfod, winning in three categories: 12 years and under, 16 years and under, and the Open Age Championship. The following year, he claimed two first prizes at the Sydney Piano Eisteddfod. Renowned Russian Professor Alexander Sverjensky, impressed by John’s accomplishments, offered him mentorship. John graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, then traveled overseas for further education. During this time, he impressed Gideon Waldrop, the Dean of Juilliard Music School, who invited him to enroll. John ultimately settled in Los Angeles, where he has been a successful private piano teacher for 26 years, with clients including Hollywood industry professionals and students who have pursued successful music careers.
